Gabriela Wiosna-Sałyga studied Chemistry at the Lodz University of Technology and received her Diploma there in 2002. She earned her PhD degree in the field of photophysic and spectroscopy from Institute of Physical Chemistry Polish Academy of Sciences in 2009 studying the structure and reactivity of systems with hydrogen bonds.

Her current research interests are focused on the spectroscopic characterization of materials for organic electronics and the fabrication and characterization of devices as organic light emitting diodes (OLED) and field effect transistors (FET).
